Baba Virsah Singh teaches that the common goal of all religions and paths which is love and says we ought to come together on that basis and live as one family of God.He says all the prophets came at crucial times to teach the path of loving. He gives mantra and sacred text called the Jaap Sahib written by Guru Gobind Singh. His ashram farm is in Mehrauli on the southern outskirts of Delhi India

  Lord shiva

Siddha Yoga the path is the path of Sahivite Hinduism began in the Himalayas by Lord Shiva in ancient times. Baba Nityananda taught and prophesised he would bring Siddha Yoga to the west. It uses the sacred mantra Om Namah Shiva and meditation plus the sacred text the Guru Gita.

Yoga It is a living process that changes from moment by moment. We have to be with it day and night, feel it in each instant of our existence. Truth like love can not be demonstrated or explained or offered. It is there with all its immensity around us filling all space. One only has to look and be aware.

Hatha (sun/moon) Yoga is divided into sections according to the sage Patanjali.
See the …The Sutras of Patanjali There are 8 limbs to the teaching of his yoga.
Various traditions of yoga have their methods to open ones consciousness. One must find a path that suites and a real teacher of the tradition in order to reap real benefits.
Most yoga in the west has been dissolved into mere physical exercise

Above Mirabai meeting with people

Bhakti Yoga is the worship of the God via divine LOVE and selfless worship. Via singing and prayer the lover of the divine becomes one with the God. Singing and prayer are used as well as meditition.

Mirabai was a famous Bhakti practitioner. She was immersed in love with Krishna and renounced the role of traditional women to serve her husband and was the victim of an attempt to assassinate her by her father. She survived after drinking poison, knowing it could kill her.

Yoga ' divine union of; Body - Heart- Spirit '

Yoga - Yog (to yoke or bind in Sanskrit) means union and is a way of life. Love is the heart of Yoga. It is a living process that changes in each moment. It is a consciousness of the divine life which exists in all of nature and life. Yoga is the connectedness to that divine energy via the study of the senses ...breath, sound, feelings and emotions, body sensations, ideas and intuition, within us.

Then we grow beyond the senses to intuitively knowing. Yoga dates back thousands of years, originating from the Vedanta (universal teachings) of ancient India of which Yoga is merely one small part. Yoga is not only words and exercises, ideas and rituals as these things are useful but merely an entry point for one to experience our own spiritual SELF which is beyond words. We are ... the Divine inner child of peace which has always existed within and somehow we have lost contact with that feeling of ...open free space.

Classes include classic esoteric teachings and postures to still the mind and balance the energy / prana.Yoga classes include; Yoga nidra (relaxation) Hatha yoga (postures) Raja yoga (meditation) Relaxation ;one relaxes each part of the body, mindfully as we lay flat on a mat. Postures; The body is placed in various positions to release tension and increase energy flow to various chakras improve flexibility, circulation.

Meditation while sitting with a straight spine one learns to look inwardly. & BE. still. Gerard's meditation teacher since 1990 is Baba Virsah Singh of India ... visit Baba Virsah Singh

"To meditate, be still and listen silently"

Sacred sounds or Mantras
Mantras are used to open ones consciousness to a higher dimension. They come from ancient sources in yoga and other spiritual prophets who have come to help heal the planet and save people who are suffering. They balance the prana and breath so the mind can be stilled and a spiritual atmosphere created. They invoke deities past prophets and their blessings and guidance It is better to have a teacher say the mantra at least one time to you if possible but if one is sincere one will benefit.
